Dr. Hartman consults with patients about nutritional health. The information provided helps guide patients to better health, as well as helps patients maintain overall health. This includes, how they can help their selves between therapy sessions; and how taking simple, small steps can help prevent some health problems. She advises/educates patients about how to become healthier, ways in which this is accomplished and teaches about natural health, fitness, healthy living and the effects of common lifestyle choices, etc.
Dr. Hartman customizes each health plan to all individual needs, health, medical conditions/challenges, medications, herbs, homeopathics and/or vitamins patients are taking, life style, mental, emotional, spiritual, conditioning /beliefs, trauma/injuries, and nutritional aspects. She does not believe in a “One Size Fits All” approach or “Grouping” everyone into a “Charted Category” either. Instead, Dr. Hartman takes it upon herself to evaluate all aspects of each patients, which is a lengthy process after the first consult, most of the time it can take 2-4 weeks to prepare plans after the first consult. After which, she then schedules the patient to come back and presents her custom plan for the individual patient’s unique health. *NOTE: Since this is individualized – NO plan is exactly the same! Plan also change with patients as they become healthier and issues decrease. All plans are designed to grow with you and your unique situation and focuses on root causes. Patients receive guidance, education, booklets, charts, consulting, and/or recipes to help get them started. Patients can call, email or text with questions, concerns and to give weekly updates of how they are doing on their individual plan.
Dr. Hartman’s plans do not use shakes for weeks, bars after so many weeks, etc. she uses real foods, real activities, real discipline, and REAL items. Dr. Hartman believes in working with the body to ensure health of the body and keep the metabolism running effectively; while keeping the whole body and immune system healthy in the process. Crash diets do not keep the body healthy, it shocks the system, slows the metabolism and causes more harm than good. Building and working with the body to achieve overall health and wellness is how you can ensure the body’s health. It is a much safer way to help patients lose weight, maintain their weight, adapt to a healthier diet and lifestyle and so much more.
