Dr. Hartman has been trained in helping patients manage emotions, challenging negative thinking patterns, improving relationship skills, reducing stress and anxiety etc.
Dr. Hartman knows very well that the “one-size-fits-all” motto, does NOT work for everyone. She listens deeply to her patients, gains an understanding into their personal, emotional, physical, and spiritual needs, life challenges, hopes, dreams, etc. She bases her program around her unique patients and what she thinks may be able to help them reframe their thinking, how to address problems and/or life situations more effectively, a particular design of action to facilitate behavior changes, and to hold her patients accountable for putting it into place.
This could mean patients may journal, clarify values, needs, and goals, releasing built up emotions from past and present (including abuse), assigning homework outside of the office, learning how to “let go,” etc.
All in hopes for her patient to learn how to manage stress, create real goals, values, needs, and purpose, growing personally in a positive way, learning practical, actionable ways to address personal and professional challenges, being honest with self-assessments etc.
